Retail union Usdaw is urging ex Kwik Save staff to return their redundancy claim forms so that they dont miss out on claiming back any money owed following the collapse of the supermarket chain in June.
Joanne McGuinness, Usdaws national officer, said: "Usdaw is urging all our members who havent sent their claim forms in to do so as quickly as possible so they can claim all the money they are entitled to after what has been an incredibly stressful time for them."
"The sooner the forms are returned then the quicker our long-suffering Kwik Save members can get their money, but it may be that some of our members arent clear about how to fill the form in and if that is the case then they need to talk to us so we can help with that process," she added.
Any Usdaw members that feel they have not been paid their full entitlement should contact ERA Solutions, who handle the claims process, or the DTI.
"Contact details and further information on making claims can be found by contacting their local Usdaw office," McGuinness concluded.
Usdaw has written to all of its Kwik Save members with contact details for HR departments at Morrisons, Somerfield, United Co-op, Spar and Netto, to help members locate new work with one of these employers.
