Compass Road Riesling Landwein Rhein is a dry white wine produced in the German Rhine Region with grapes from selected vineyards to give the wine a consistent and complex balance. The history of viticulture in the Rhine Region dates back to the Roman times. Riesling is originated in the Rhine region and was first mentioned in the early 15th century. The wine is characterised by its intense aromas displaying a flavourful and refreshing acidity. Riesling is highly influenced by its “terroir”, the wine`s place of origin.
The elegant Riesling has a pale yellow colour with green reflections with aromas of peach, green apple. The wine has a pleasant and well-balanced acidity.
This dry white wine goes well with starters, fish, veal and poultry. Best served chilled.
