Sainsburys to relaunch skincare range

The opening of a pop-up shop last week heralded the arrival of Skin Therapy – Sainsbury’s new skincare range.
Supermarket bosses in Covent Garden invited members of the press and bloggers to find out about the quality of the new selection at an event that took place in BB Bakery.
More than 100 journalists visited the pop-up shop and organisations including Daily Mail, Fabulous, ELLE, Company, OK!, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Woman and Home and Look were represented.
Sainsburys also launched Boutique, a new makeup range that will ensure people across the UK have access to high-quality and low-price nail polishes, lipsticks and eye shadow.
Jo Saville, a cosmetics ambassador for the supermarket, said: “Boutique was created for the everyday woman, but as a result of testing the products we found industry insiders were choosing to include the products in their makeup kit because of their fantastic quality.”
The new range will be released at Sainsbury’s outlets across the UK in September 2013 and it is expected other grocers will follow if this project is a success.
