Ultra cheap broadband deal launched by Direct Save Telecom

UK consumers looking to save money on their internet package should consider a new ‘best value’ broadband deal from independent phone and broadband provider Direct Save Telecom.
For an ultra-low price of £2.49 per month, which is guaranteed for two years, customers get a monthly data usage allowance of 20GB and can enjoy broadband speeds of up to 24Mbps.
The deal also includes free set-up (worth £24.95), a free wireless broadband router (worth £35), unlimited UK landline evenings and weekend calls, and 24-hour UK-based freephone support.
To take advantage of the offer, customers must sign up to a 24-month contract and take Direct Save Telecom’s line rental, which costs £12.85 per month. This brings the total package cost to £15.34 a month, making it 6 per cent cheaper than Tesco’s value broadband offering.
Stavros Tsolakis, CEO of Direct Save Telecom, said: “Simply put, broadband customers will not be able to find a better deal anywhere in the UK.”
“Prices are going crazy just now. Petrol is going through the roof, there is about to be a 30 per cent increase in the price of a first class stamp, and you do not get much change from a fiver when you buy a pint of beer.”
“We are all currently being hit hard in the pocket, and if the forecasters are proved correct, there could be more hard times ahead.”
He added: “We envisage this great deal, as well as our excellent customer care policy which includes 24/7 UK based customer support, will allow us to compete with the larger telecom companies who dominate the market just now.”
