Virgin unveils new Broadband and TV bundles

Virgin Media has announced it will launch a new range of TV and broadband bundles this month, which will include the company’s TiVo TV catch-up service as standard.
Re-branded as ‘Collection’, the revamped home broadband, TV and phone packages are designed to meet the increasing mainstream demand for faster broadband and intelligent connected TV services.”
Customers will get the choice of three options; Essential, Premiere and VIP. The entry-level Essential Collection comes with a 500GB TiVi digital TV box, 75 channels and 6 HD channels, 30Mb/sec broadband and the Talk Weekends telephone package, all for £25 a month.
The Premiere bundle costs £45 a month and includes a V HD set-up box, 175 channels, 23 HD channels and 60Mb/sec cable broadband, while the £90 a month VIP package includes a TiVo box with 1TB of storage and adds 13 HD channels, 100Mb broadband and Virgin’s Talk Unlimited telephone service.
Andrew Barron, chief executive of Virgin Media, said: “This is the first time we’ve combined these leading products in this way and these ground-breaking Collections mark a new chapter for digital services in the UK.”
The launch of the new Collections range will be backed by a new advertising campaign featuring Virgin founder Sir Richard Branson and Ex-Who star David Tennant.
