Wet Wipe Manufacturer Unveils Environmental Firsts

Nice-Pak International, the global leader in the design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of wet wipe products, has boosted its green credentials with the announcement of two landmark packaging moves.
The US-based company recently became the first wet wipe manufacturer to offer fully recyclable packaging compatible with current waste recycling processes.
Using a unique co-extruded monolayer HDPE material, the manufacturer’s recyclable packaging carries the number 2 recycling symbol, the first of its kind in the wet wipes market.
Adding to this, Nice-Pak has also now become the first in its sector to show support for the production of sustainable palm oil by joining the GreenPalm certificate trading programme, which is aimed at tackling the environmental and social problems created by the uncontrolled production of palm oil .
Nice-Pak marketing director, Ian Anderson, said: “As innovators in the market, we are keen to pave the way to a more sustainable future and we are continually developing and adopting greener alternatives in the manufacturing process.
“Our two industry firsts demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and to meeting the changing needs of our customers, who are increasingly looking for more sustainable products.
“We are delighted to be leading the way in the sector and will continue to strive for alternatives that will secure a greener future.”
