Tesco To Restart Double Rewards Scheme

Tesco has announced it is to launch a second Big Clubcard Voucher Exchange scheme next week, which will allow customers holders to double the value of their Clubcard rewards over the next four weeks.
The supermarket giant claims around £50m in reward points will be doubled by shoppers into £100m worth of vouchers, which can be redeemed against non food products such as clothing, toys and electrical goods in-store or online.
The Voucher Exchange scheme, which is being specifically referred to as the ‘Big Christmas Exchange’, is in addition to Tesco’s existing Double Points promotion. It launches on Monday and will run until 5 December.
Carolyn Bradley, Tesco’s UK marketing director, said: “In the lead up to Christmas, this promotion provides our Clubcard members with a great way to make savings .”
“For Tesco, it’s our way of saying a huge thank you to our customers and with the broad range of items included, we’re confident that this Big Exchange will have mass appeal.”
The move is part of Britain’s largest retailer’s giant Christmas promotions campaign announced last month, which is claims will save shoppers some £1.3 billion in the run up to the festive season.
