A new, first of its kind comparison service has been launched that allows shoppers to compare prices on their favourite wines and spirits online.
Mysupermarket Wine, from grocery shopping comparison site Mysupermarket.co.uk, gives users the ability to compare prices from major supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury and Ocado, as well as from independent wine retailers like Majestic Wine and Virgin Wines .
Mysupermarket claims the new site (wine.mysupermarket.co.uk) can reduce consumers alcohol costs this Christmas by up to 50 per cent.
A spokesman for mySupermarket said: “With the launch of mySupermarket Wine, Brits can make sure they get the best deal on their alcohol this Christmas at the end of yet another especially difficult year.”
“We’re planning to add more specialist retailers from other categories to the site too, to help shoppers cut their weekly bill even further.”
MySupermarket.co.uk is a free online service which allows people to compare supermarket prices as they shop and get the best possible deal on their groceries .
