Free Contact Lens Review On Offer At Asda

Asda has announced it is offering a free contact lens assessment for customers who undergo a full eye sight test with one of its in-store opticians .
The supermarket giant said it hopes the “risk-free” procedure, which usually costs £15, will help encourage more people to have their vision tested.
Asda buying manager Nik Langrish-Dixon, stressed that customers who have a contact lens assessment will not be obliged to buy any of the company’s optical products, and added that any additional follow-up appointments will also be free.
Asda operates optical practices in over 80 stores across the UK, and plans to open seven outlets with opticians services in the next 12 months.
As well as regular eye examinations and contact lens assessments, the retailer’s staff of fully qualified optometrists, dispensing opticians and trained optical colleagues offer a professional dispensing service, contact lens aftercare and a free glasses MOT.
