New research by online payment company Paypal has found that 60 per cent of British people are now using the internet to find better deals and bigger savings.
As Mother’s Day approaches (March 22nd), sons and daughters will be scouring the internet for last minute savings, according to the company, which is taking advantage of this by offering some discounted items.
The company is offering up to ten per cent discount on classic Mothers Day items like flowers and earrings, with other savings available on lifestyle vouchers, Billy Elliot theatre tickets and coats from Evans.
Mark Hodson, UK marketing director at PayPal, said: “PayPal Offers allows users to take advantage of cashback deals, discounts and special offers from leading retailers like TopShop, Marks and Spencer and Boots. New deals and retailers are regularly being uploaded onto the website to help shoppers bag a bargain.”
Penny-pinchers have also been advised by price comparison website Moneysupermarket.com to move energy bills online in order to take advantage of savings available.
