Sainsburys Finance is offering customers the chance to get a great deal on their car insurance.
The banking arm of the supermarket giant has announced that Nectar cardholders who take out a Sainsburys car insurance policy before April 9 could receive up to £293 worth of rewards and benefits.
Those who sign up can save up to 15 per cent on their premium, benefit from double Nectar points on shopping and fuel for two years, and receive free breakdown cover for 12 months, including free labour for roadside repairs and free recovery service to a garage within 10 miles.
An additional five per cent discount is also available to new customers who buy a policy before February 8, taking potential savings up to £341.
Commenting on the importance of breakdown assistance, Ben Tyte, head of home and motor insurance at Sainsburys Finance, said: "This is the time of year when car owners really should ensure they have breakdown cover ."
"Should you break down, you dont want to be stuck at the roadside on a cold, dark, wintry night having to make an emergency call out."
