Home broadband, phone and TV bundles proved extremely popular last year, particularly among cash savvy Sky customers.
The British broadcasting giant has revealed that more than three million of its customers are now signed up to packages that provide digital TV, broadband and landline services .
Announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2011, Sky reported "continued improvement" in its product mix, with the number of subscribers opting for these triple-bundle deals rising 26 per cent from the same period in 2010 in line with year-on-year growth seen in the previous quarter.
The figures also revealed that a further 100,000 households chose Sky to provide their TV, home phone and/or broadband service over the quarter 23,000 more than in the previous three months - taking its total customer base at the end of 2011 to 10.471 million.
The broadcaster also claimed that it saw a strong response to its price freeze pledge, as its customer turnover rate stood at just 9.6 per cent despite mounting pressure on household finances .
Sky chief executive Jeremy Darroch said: "From broadband to high definition, people are choosing Sky for a wider range of products than ever, underlining the transformation of our business over the last few years."
