Morrisons is offering Christmas shoppers a three-course festive dinner for just £4.
The meal-deal for four includes tomato soup for starters, a loin of pork and a seasonal vegetable pack for the main course and trifle for dessert .
To promote the festive meal, which would usually set customers back £12, Morrisons has launched a nationwide press campaign.
Angus McIver, Morrisons group marketing director, said: "It is now more common to enjoy several feasts before Christmas Day. Our £4 festive feast helps the household budget at an expensive time of the year."
The move comes as supermarkets continue to slash prices across hundreds of lines in a bid to secure custom over the busy festive season.
Both Tesco and Lidl have cut the price of lobster to £5, while Asda is offering a whole Alaskan pink salmon for just £3 - the lowest-priced salmon on the market.
A spokesman for Asda claims that the fish is enough to feed eight, making the cost of a portion less than 39p.
