Supermarket chain Waitrose has announced plans to stock and sell two wines from Argentine producer Familia Zuccardi.
Customers at Waitrose stores will be able to buy the 2007 Santa Julia Organica Bonarda-Sangiovese from the end of this month.
The wine - a blend of 50 per cent Bonarda and 50 per cent Sangiovese - will be the first organic wine launched under the Santa Julia label and carries a recommended retail price of £6.99.
The second of the two wines will be launched In August, with supplies of the 2007 Santa Julia Pinot Grigio expected to retail at £5.99.
The wines, along with the Zuccardi Series A premium range, will be showcased at next months London International Wine Fair, being held at the ExCel exhibition centre, in the Wines of Argentina arena.
