Extra Christmas Cover Offered By Tesco

Tesco Home Insurance has announced that it is to join in the Christmas spirit by rewarding its customers with an increase in cover over the festive season .

The insurance company will automatically raise cover by 10 per cent during December 1st to January 15th. This will come at a time of year when many people will be busy buying and receiving Christmas gifts .

Another bonus addition that will be thrown into the cover is a 10 per cent rise in wedding contents cover for all couples that are set to get married over Christmas. This addition will be available to customers for four months before and after their wedding .

Head of the insurance company Allan Burns said, "We would encourage all consumers to take the necessary steps to make their homes secure over the Christmas period."

"They should also check their policy to make sure that in the traumatic event of a burglary, their loss does not become a financially painful one as their cover limits aren't adequate," Mr Burns continued.

Tesco Home Insurance is gaining a good reputation with customers due to the incentives and schemes offered, including a 35 per cent discount given to customers in the first year if the policy is taken out through the company website .
